MESSAGE URGENT

Chers collègues,

Voici quelques nouvelles fraîches du Congrès que notre Société tiendra du 29 au 31 Octobre 2014 (à Paris pour la première fois depuis 7 ans).

1.    La date limite de soumission des résumés vient d’être reportée au 15 Septembre à midi! Nous vous encourageons à présenter les derniers résultats de vos recherches en français ou en anglais. Rendez-vous ici pour soumettre, et là pour vous inscrire au Congrès.

2.    Nous espérons pouvoir proposer une traduction simultanée français-anglais, afin de donner au Congrès de la SFC toute sa dimension internationale. Nous aurons ainsi plusieurs orateurs anglophones, et les deux premières sessions seront organisées en partenariat avec l’EBRS, qui attribue 5 bourses de voyage à de jeunes scientifiques dont le résumé sera sélectionné pour notre Congrès.

3.    Nous avons voulu faire largement rayonner la Chronobiologie, en encadrant le Congrès proprement dit par une session de formation (pour laquelle nous avons demandé une accréditation européenne), et une soirée destinée au grand public.

4.    Enfin, le diner de gala sera l’occasion d’échanges conviviaux entre scientifiques passionnés.

URGENT MESSAGE

Dear colleagues,

Let me share with you the latest news regarding the meeting to be held by the SFC on October 29- 31 2014 (in Paris for the first time in 7 years).

1.    The deadline for abstract submission has been postponed to September 15th at noon!   We strongly encourage you to submit here your latest research results in French or in English and to register thereto the meeting

2.    We hope to be able to offer simultaneous French-English translation and vice-versa, in order to provide full international visibility to the SFC Congress. Thus several English-speaking colleagues have been invited, and the first day sessions will be held jointly with the EBRS, which has allocated five travel fellowships for young scientists whose abstract will be selected for presentation at this meeting.

3.    We have attempted to spread the field of chronobiology both in the medical and scientific communities, and in the public. Two special events have been organized: a one day training session, for which a European Accreditation has been requested, and an evening public event.

4.    Finally, we expect that the Gala dinner will be an ideal place for strengthening our scientific exchanges in a friendly and enjoyable atmosphere. We do look forward to host you there.
